Overview
The main exhibition space displays close to four million different types of preserved animal life, including mammals, birds, reptiles, insects, fish and mollusks. Some of the stuffed large predatory animals are spectacular specimens. You'll be impressed by the 1.8 million-year-old Megatherium americanum skeleton found in Argentina in 1788, the reproduction dinosaurs and the fossil and mineral collections. The museum tells the story of the evolution of life on earth with the aid of audio-visual shows and organizes free educational workshops for adults and children on weekends.
