Overview
This cider house and grill is typical of Asturias, a region in the north of Spain famous for its delicious meats, seafood, and - of course - cider. Locals argue about the best dish on the menu: some say it's the "chorizo a la sidra," or highly-seasoned pork sausage cooked in cider, and others say it's the "almejas a la marinera," or clams made with olive oil, parsley, bay leaf, white wine, and paprika. Either way, the food is to die for. Throw in a cheese platter with "cabrales" (an incredibly strong Asturian cheese) or any kind of charcoal-grilled meat ("carne a la brasa"), and the meal will leave any diner happily bursting at the seams. -Michelle Campagna
