Sushiolé, Madrid

The concept behind this restaurant comes from the fact that Spanish and Japanese cuisines have two main foods in common: fish and rice. Even though the menu itself is more sushi-based, its possibilities are endless: it has eleven different sections, thirty dish suggestions, and twenty-four appetizers. Try one of their overtly fishy futomaki rolls, like the "Karibe" (Caribbean) for example, which comes with tuna, mango, crab, crab eggs, cream cheese, and "eel sauce." Or try a less-intimidating uramaki roll, like the "Pollolé" (Olé Chicken), with chicken, asparagus, avocado, cream cheese, teriyaki sauce, and the house sauce.
