Overview
The Velodromo Municipal de Galapagar is an arena located in the town of Galapagar, about 25 miles from Madrid. This velodrome is one of the premier venues for track cycling events in the region. Its location, right near the heart of Galapagar and in close proximity to the Spanish capital, makes it easily accessible and convenient for organizing major events. Built to meet the high Olympic standards, this arena measures about 62 by 110 meters on the inside. Besides cycling events, this velodrome is also used for various cultural events like concerts, including jazz concerts, and other live performances.
