Viva la Vida, Madrid

This snazzy, all-around vegetarian buffet is special for many reasons: all meals are paid for according to weight (it's an open buffet), the décor is a cross between a Mexican cantina and the Amazon forest, and the place doubles as a cocktail bar. They've got live weekly DJ sessions and a Salón jardín (Garden Room) that can be reserved for large parties. The food itself is delicious, with tofu and seitan dishes (these specialty items are hard to come by in the Spanish capital), tabouli, lentils of all kinds, sushi platters, homemade cakes and cookies, and freshly baked whole grain bread.
