Overview
Valldemosa is a classically beautiful old town in a verdant valley, with a Gothic Church and the Cartuja Monastery. Valldemosa is situated on the Northern coast of Mallorca, about a 20 minute drive from Palma. Beginning in the 19th century, Valldemosa began attracting visitors, including Frédéric Chopin, who moved here in 1838. There is an amazing church in town that dates to 1245. The waters of the Bay are of course sublime. This is one of Mallorca's perfect daytrips.
