Well-located, opposite the Campo de San Francisco, one of the quietest parks in the city, and on the site of the old San Francisco Convent, stands this lovely baroque church, which dates back to 1746. At the entrance, there are two columns, with a picture of St. Louis and the shield of the order of St. Francis. The inside is even more baroque, in the style of Churriguera, the architect. Particular features include the full-sized angels, and the choir where there's a mural depicting the church being offered to St. Francis by King Fernando III.
