Overview
This is one of the first reservoirs to have been built in the province. It's located about 30km from the capital, just beyond Alba de Tormes. It performs numerous functions: producing hydroelectric energy, crop irrigation, regulating river levels and serves as a venue for watersports. The club house has mooring spaces for boats. The surrounding area offers excellent trout fishing locations and attractive scenery for a day out in the the country.
