This restaurant is divided into two parts. At the front bar near the entrance, you can enjoy the best grilled-sausage pinchos (like tapas), including chorizo, farinato (prepared with bread, lard, salt and pepper), fatback, blood sausage or simply pork loin. Further back, there are two more dining rooms, one of which is set aside for special occasions and can be reserved. The entire restaurant is decorated in typical Castilian fashion, with "Villamayor" stone, wooden coffered ceilings and wrought iron lamps and other ornaments. The menu varies depending on the season. If you get the chance, you should try the oxtail, the Barco de Ávila alubión or the fish and seafood salads. As for desserts, the yogurt and cheese with pine nuts is extremely popular with the regulars. Booking a table in advance on weekends is recommended.
