This is an old village bar where you can drink traditional txikitos (wine in short glasses) at the bar, which has since been converted, (thanks to the work of owners Gorka Txapartegi and his brother), into a very interesting restaurant. The cuisine is refined and modern whilst remaining faithful to the gastronomy of one of the most important fishing ports in Cantabria. This faithfulness is reflected in the use of excellent local products: squid, horse-mackerel, hake, tuna and anchovies, all prepared in a modern and imaginative way. The old bar has recently been refurbished to match the quality of the food. Closed during the Christmas holidays.
