This Parte Vieja restaurant offers a real tribute to raw materials, based on vegetables (young peas and asparagus), seafood (excellent fish and superb shellfish) or meat (fantastic chops). The main cooking method is char-grilling both for fish and steak. They also follow traditional Basque recipes (hake in parsley sauce, cod served with chillies and garlic)and sometimes more enlightened cuisine. The restaurant is located in the busiest street in the old part of the city. It has a varied clientele, with expensive raw materials that make it somewhat exclusive. Closed for holidays during the first half of March.
