Centro Cultural Koldo Mitxelena, San Sebastian

The old School of Engineers is today a cultural center where many and varied activities take place. The building is constructed in masonry stone, and along with the post office has an imposing presence in the plaza del Buen Pastor. The interior has been totally renovated to make it suitable for the functions it is used for today. It is home to the Gipúzcoa Regional Council's library, and has a multi-purpose hall for conferences, courses, functions, and two exhibition spaces. In the basement, the exhibition room is dedicated to contemporary art. On the top floor, the "Ganbara" room offers more varied cultural activity.
