This is probably the smallest place to eat in the San Sebastian area, with three tables between the bar and the kitchen, where two or three young but experienced cooks work in plain slight of customers. As is to be expected, their specialties are also on a small scale. They do delicious tapas, which are also served at the bar, such as marinated anchovies; cannelloni with black pudding, garlic and oil; and, squid stuffed with spring onions. They also serve dishes based on traditional recipes, but with modern touches such as cod with chillies and garlic, roast meat with dried fruit, roast duck breast and rice pudding with cinnamon.
