Juli, San Sebastian

Although located in Errenteria, Juli is a bar which has been at the forefront of haute cuisine on a small scale, for which San Sebastian is renowed. As well as its busy bar, which has an infinite list of tapas (including scallops, stuffed clams, excellent omelettes (tortillas) and a lot of other things), you can have a more serious meal that also includes dishes such as cod salad, potatoes and cabbage, fantastic tripe, and delicious veal and oxtail in red wine, not to mention the little delicacies available at the bar. There is a good selection of wine. You can reach Rentería (Errenteria in Basque) either by bus or train, but the best possible way is by car because is only 8 kilometers from San Sebastián.
