Overview

On Calle Refugio we find this small bar, classically Spanish but with a character very much its own and a long history behind it. Among its special features are the music played, often classical or jazz, never predictable or run-of-the-mill, and its bohemian atmosphere. The walls display painting exhibitions which change from time to time. These 'cultural' features seem genuine, spontaneous, and not at all pretentious, and prices are very reasonable. Try ham, longaniza, cheese or prawn omelette baguettes for great, simple, homemade fare.
