Café Moderno, Zaragoza

One of the oldest cafés in Zaragoza, in spite of its name, it retains quite a lot of its typical, old fashioned character, yet is enriched by certain features which bring it close to a pub in the British style, such as the reproductions of vintage advertisements, English beer on tap and some fine brands of malt whisky, like Macallan and Glenmorangie. Wood dominates its careful decor, the highlight of which are the beautiful lamps hanging over the bar. The wide selection of typical Spanish tapas you can choose from are all excellent, as are the special sandwiches, toasties and coffee cocktails.
