Overview
The former village of Garrapinillos is located between the airport and the road to Logrono about 12km from the city centre. The leisure complex in this neighbourhood, very near the G. A. Becquer High School, has been totally renovated and features 2 swimming pools, a jai alai court and a sand court for volleyball. The large number of shady trees and the spacious grounds, combined with a quiet, family atmosphere make it worth visiting, especially when other city pools are overcrowded. You can reach the leisure centre by bus from the Plaza del Portillo in the centre of Zaragoza (line Zaragoza-Torremedina).
