Overview
Located next to the palace of the Counts of Argillo (17th century) and opposite Fortea Tower (15th century). Torre Nueva (16th century), which was demolished in 1892, was also situated in this square. The church of San Felipe was finished in the 18th century and was inaugurated in 1691. It probably replaced a previous Romanesque church, though this not known for certain. In the façade you can see a door with Solomon-style columns and the interior contains three nave. The architect Ventura Rodriguez, author of the Holy Chapel of the Basílica Pilar, was married in this church in 1751. Mass is conducted regularly on Sundays
