S/S Marieholm, Gothenburg

S/S Marieholm is the last of the Swedish America Line's fleet still in Sweden, and still bears the shipping company's colours and chimney mark. Now, however, there is a large dining room, veranda bar, pool with sauna and conference room on-board. The restaurant is closed in the evenings during the winter months. But even if S/S Marieholm offers the daily lunches that are so common in Sweden all year round, it still has a few more expensive dishes on the side to choose from. The nearest tram stop is Lilla Bommen, served by tramline 5 and several buses. It is, however, not far from Brunnsparken, where most trams stop.
