Overview
At Armémuseum (The Army Museum) you will learn about the military history of Sweden from the Viking Age until modern day. The museum's exhibitions focus on the effect war has on the human soul. In 2009, a new section was opened dedicated to Swedish hero, Raoul Wallenberg and his actions in Budapest during the Second World War. There are other rooms in the museum displaying the crimes and punishments during war. If you find yourself getting hungry, the museum's restaurant Borggården serves delicious meals. You can also check out the archive and library where you can read more about military history and if you manage to arrive between 5p and 8p on Tuesdays you can enter the museum for free.
