Overview
Katarina Kyrka is Sweden's first central church and one of its prettiest. Legendary punk rocker Joakim Thåström has created a song in its honor. However, its beauty has been marred by fire on several occasions. The last time it was restored, the church was given its original Baroque style. Well-known personalities, such as the famous folksinger Cornelis Wreswjik have been laid to rest here. Morning services are held every Sunday at 11am.
