Overview

Home to the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, the Konserthuset has been a part of Stockholm's music and cultural scene since 1926. The prestigious Nobel Prize Ceremony also takes place here annually in December. It is divided into three halls, namely the Main Hall, Grünewald Hall and the Aulin Hall.The Main Hall has a grand organ that has a whopping has 6,100 pipes. It also houses an art collection, while the Grünewald Hall itself is a work of art on display with a magnificent ceiling painting that often steals the show.
