Overview
The Old Stockholm Observatory boasts of a panoramic city view. During the 18th and 19th century, research within the fields of astronomy, meteorology and geography was conducted here. Today, the observatory is also a museum dedicated to the evolution of science. It is managed by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and several of Sweden's most prominent scientists are associates. Check for the timings which tend to change for telescopic observations and guided tours.
