BG Café, Geneva

From the day this light and airy restaurant opened on the fourth floor of the Bon Génie department store, BG Café became a very popular and trendy meeting place for lunch; despite the fact that the acoustics are atrocious and that you can hardly hear yourself talk. The décor is modern and minimalistic with its blues and beiges, and the walls decorated with attractive Bon Génie posters. A choice of Nouvelle Cuisine dishes, the food is generally good and the staff is friendly and efficient. At teatime you may want to indulge in a tempting selection of pastries and crêpes.
