For man, Geneva is a city of fantastic history and culture, but what about its natural environment? At the Musée du Léman, visitors can learn about the heritage and science behind Lake Geneva, one of the largest in Western Europe. Included in the museums exhibits are huge aquariums, models of boats and fisherman's huts, paintings and photographs that detail the history and natural life of this beautiful lake. Children under 16 are free, and admission is free to the general public on the first Sunday of every month. There are children's activities and a cafeteria on site.
