Cafe Luxembourg, Amsterdam

This Grand Cafe on the Spui is a real landmark. Always busy and very trendy. The kitchen has quite an international feel to it and while it can be a bit pricey, the food is good quality. A decent selection of wines and beers are on offer. A favorite of the dreaded Young Urban Professional, you might think this is not for you but you would be wrong. Luxembourg is a great cafe, the lovely conservatory makes for a great place to hang out and the overall style of the interior is great. It can get very busy, but it is so conveniently located and famous that you really do not have an excuse not to pop in.
