En Pluche, Amsterdam

The cocktail bar En Pluche serves tapas-style food, but not of the Spanish type. On the menu you'll find an array of finger foods, soups and appetizers, as well as a hamburger that claims to be nothing like a Big Mac…and much better! Most items show the eastern influence of the chef, from curries to Vietnamese eggrolls and Peking duck. The atmosphere is a refined one, with jazzy music that keeps things lively but never drowns out conversation.
