Stacey's Pennywell , Amsterdam

Stacey's Pennywell is an uniquely designed café and restaurant. Stretched out over two floors, you can choose either the cozy low seating area downstairs, or dine at a table upstairs with a view of the canal. Breakfast is served from 9a to noon, and offers a full English breakfast, Liege waffles and croissants. The lunch menu has a wide variety of luxurious sandwiches, small baguettes, salads and homemade soup. In the evenings, it's possible to order either meat, fish or vegetarian starters and main courses. There is also a wine and cocktail menu, which makes Stacey's Pennywell popular in the evenings for groups and small parties. - Rebecca Cleaves
