Winkel is a very busy café and is located on a corner within the Jordaan area. Normally, and especially on sunny days, it can be hard to find a seat on their terrace. A mixture of locals, expats and tourists all find the location and café appealing. On Monday mornings, when there is a popular street market, it's a great place to people watch. Their menu has a selection of sandwiches and soups for lunch and changes daily for the evening courses. Moreover, the homemade apple pie is quite famous in Amsterdam!
