New Westhall, Bath

Situated on the western approach to Bath, just opposite Royal Victoria Park is the Westhall pub. Despite having undergone numerous changes of management over the past few years, it has managed to retain much of its appeal and hangs onto a small band of regulars. The pub is an ideal place for a quiet drink, away from the gin-palaces of the city center. The landlord is friendly and welcoming and there are pool tables and dartboards in a side room. Décor wise, this is a traditional English pub with dark wood tables and chairs, slightly worn, patterned carpets, and a suitably smoky atmosphere. A good selection of draught beers and cider ensure that the regulars return.
