Barnett Restaurant, Belfast

Barnett Restaurant is an old-fashioned, rather "posh" Ulster eating establishment set inside the luxurious interior of Malone House. Prices, however, are friendly and the food also has a few surprises in store. Dishes are a mix of the the traditional Irish with contemporary invention, using only the finest ingredients. There is also a strong vegetarian showing. The set meals on offer change daily and have an imaginative twist to the recipes. A typical dish is very hard to pin down, cucumber soup with ginger may give you an idea. Meanwhile the views over Barnett Demesne and the Lagan Valley Regional Park are spectacular, especially in summer. All of which makes Barnett Restaurant the perfect place for a tasty lunch that will keep you going till dinner time.
