Hester's Place, Belfast

This is the place to be if you want a real Irish treat. Why not indulge in an Ulster fry with all the trimmings - fried eggs, soda bread, potato bread, mushrooms, tomatoes, sausages and bacon (yes, it's a heart attack on a plate but you've got to try it at least once, and the fry dished up at Hester's is a good one). Alternatively order a bowl of piping hot Irish stew made in the traditional way. Or perhaps home baked apple tart and cream and a cup of tea or coffee will suffice. A good lunch will cost less than a fiver, but be warned - Hester's Place is always busy at lunchtime so get here early if you can.
