House (The), Belfast

Finally, the leafy and cosmopolitan area of Stranmillis has a "real" local pub to call its own. A strange oversight perhaps, considering that the self-contained area is a true gem set in the heart of south Belfast. The House, far from being just some run of the mill backstreet boozer has been tastefully decorated with lashings of gilded mirrors, crystal chandeliers, swanky wallpaper and snug leather seats. This is a great place to imbibe the atmosphere, dine, socialize or get involved in some lively conversations. It's also a good starting point for a "pub crawl" because of its position on top of a hill. With a variety of menus, there are seasonal menus in addition to the kids' menu.
