The Highbury Little Theatre was founded in the 1920s and is a private membership theater. It is sustained by voluntary activities and has recently been successful in securing funding from the National Lottery. It has its own resident company, The Highbury Players, whose program typically include a mixture of well-known classics, lesser-known plays and a children's play for Christmas. Various social activities revolve around the theater, including acting workshops. Art exhibitions are also held at the theater from time to time. Whether you want to go along just to see the shows, or if you're keen in taking part in this lively community arts theater, you'll be made very welcome. Ring the box office for details of current productions, dates and times, or send an e-mail.
