Serious bargain-hunters will reach this huge market in the early hours, but most people come in the afternoon. Expect to find records, furniture, antiques, clothes, a butcher's, and a produce stall, as well as tons of interesting old junk. For 27 years the market's home was the Brighton Train Station car park, but now it takes place in the multi-storey car park of the Brighton Marina.
- Venue Description:
The UK's biggest marina incorporates harbour-side bars, cafes and restaurants including the Brighton Pagoda, Bowlplex, a 26-lane bowling alley, UGC Cinema with eight screens, an Asda hypermarket, factory outlet shopping and boat trips. There are regular weekend events here throughout the summer, including French markets, craft fairs and street theatre. The Brighton Marina is home to many impressive and expensive yachts. The Undercliff Path begins here, which takes you along the bottom of the chalk cliffs to Saltdean.
