Right in the center of the city of Bristol lies the grand edifice of the Saint Stephens Church. The 46-meter (152-feet) tall church tower stands tall and appears to watch over the city, just as the church watches over the people of the city. Built in the late 1400s, the church is a grand example of the timeless beauty of architecture and still retains some of its original features even after it has been through several modifications and renovations. The Saint Stephens Church withstood the Great Storm of the sixteenth century and has been sheltering its flock from storms of all kinds, even the metaphorical ones, for hundreds of years. It is a place where spirituality and culture come together to further the message of Jesus Christ. On a regular basis, this church organizes fun events and programs that aim at the spiritual welfare of the people. Please see the website for further information.
