Following on from the success of Abeno near the British Museum, Abeno Too opened in 2010, a short walk from China town and Leicester Square. Abeno was the first Japanese restaurant in Europe to serve traditional Okonomi-yaki, a savoury pancake that has its origins is Osaka. It is this alternative approach that sets Abeno apart from all other sushi-focused Japanese restaurants you find in London. This dish, along with several others, also gives you the added pleasure of seeing it prepared right before your eyes on a sizzling hot-plate. You don’t get much closer to having a personal chef than that other than, of course, having a personal chef.
