The Adelphi Theatre in London can seat 1500 and is part of The Really Useful Theatres. It was opened in 1806 with the name The Sana Pareil (literally "without compare"). In 1819 the name was changed to Adelphi, in 1858 to New Adelphi, and in 1867 to Royal Adelphi.
