Alexandra (The), London

A sports lover's haven, The Alexander is an Irish Sports Pub at heart, with two screens and provisions for playing table tennis and foosball. The heated beer garden is a much loved place to discuss the latest in sports. There is a full menu prepared by a nearby Thai restaurant, featuring delicious Thai preparations like Green Prawn Curry, Chicken Satay and Coconut Rice that go well with Irish Beer. There is French wine too, for connoisseurs that can be bought by the bottle. The setting is  truly Victorian with ornate exterior, tall windows, wooden floors and wooden bar stools. It is not too crowded which makes it a good bet for spending an enjoyable evening.
