Designed by E.W. Lewis and W.E Trent in 1930, the Apollo Victoria Theatre originally opened as a cinema to cater to movie lovers. It was converted into a theater in the late 1970s and after several renovations, now boasts of a capacity of over 2000. Plays, musicals and comedies are staged here. So far, the arena has witnessed thousands of performances of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical, Starlight Express alone! Wheelchair spaces are available in the auditorium, but have to be booked well in advance. If you get hungry after a show, just step out and you will find scores of quaint eating joints close by. So, plan a night out with your friends and grab the best of what the city has to offer. Check the website or contact +44 844 871 7627 for further information.
