House music rules okay at this down-to-earth Shoreditch bar and club. It is known as much for its unpretentiousness, non-astronomical drink prices, and free-styling live saxophonist who plays along with the DJ on Saturdays, as well as one slightly dingy bed. Once through the large lilac painted doors, decorated with wickedly-smiling Indian tigers, drinkers and clubbers are only charged almost nothing and that's after 11pm. Thursdays are a chilled affair with cocktails and a meze menu to choose from, whereas on the weekends this lively little spot hosts a variety of nights, generally focusing in and around the music of house while dabbling with breakbeat, baleric and even a bit of disco.
