Remaining true to its roots, Brick Lane Music Hall retains a sense of nostalgia, staging traditional, unpretentious plays, farces, old-school variety performances and, of course, pantos. An evening's entertainment starts with a hearty three-course meal, served by candlelight in the theater, before the night's show begins. It may not be fashionable, but with classics such as the Barber of Seville, the legendary Danny La Rue and plays with intriguing titles like The Pleasures of Fanny, it is certainly fun.
