Café Pacifico, London

Café Pacifico is one of the best restaurants for authentic Mexican food. The atmosphere is included in the price and it is very lively! But be prepared to wait for your table, since the restaurant gets real busy. Mexican artifacts and posters adorn the walls in an otherwise simply decorated room. The fajitas are excellent, but if that kind of eating is not your thing, try the chimichangas or the tacos. Filling stuff! This is not a place to visit if you're on a diet, but there are some lighter salad alternatives. Margaritas are a must, of course, and the wine list includes some interesting Latin American versions. The salsa is hot, so eat it at your own peril. No reservations allowed on Friday and Saturday evenings. Check website for further details.
