Cork & Bottle Wine Bar, London

An established wine bar on Leicester Square, Cork & Bottle has managed to catch quite a few eyeballs thanks to its excellent globe-trotting wine list and a refreshingly simple approach to wine and food. You'll be hard pressed to find any respectable wine producing region not represented on their list. Everything from Chablis, Beaujolais, Rhone and Vacqueyras to name a few are on offer here. Food at the Cork and Bottle is a delight as it consciously avoids the done-to-death cheese and dessert pairings and instead opts for an exceptionally crafted food that was garnered rave reviews and also a few awards.
