Dolce Vita, London

Recently revamped from the outside, Dolce Vita is still just as traditional on the inside. A little on the staid side, the place looks like it hasn't had a make over for a couple of decades as old fashioned pictures in ornate frames adorn the walls. The restaurant is much bigger than it looks, and couples tend to occupy the front while office parties dominate at the back. The place's popularity stems from its food, and they serve a good value set menu and a delicious à la carte. Have a bit of banter with the Italian waiting staff and chow down on pasta, Duck in Mango Sauce, or a little Parma Ham with Asparagus, but don't go expecting pizza as it isn't on the menu!
