Following the grand Gone With The Wind-style staircase down to the basement, you'll find yourself in an Aladdin's Cave of plush velvet seating and glinting lights. The only treasures in this under-theater bar though are the arty, thespian types who come to practice their lines and voice projection techniques. This aside, The Phoenix is a vibrant, hip hangout with fascinating decor ranging from autographed posters to the odd stuffed crocodile.
