Essenza is a homely Italian restaurant in the centre of Notting hill. It is a sister restaurant of Osteria Basilico and Mediterraneo Cucina Italiana. The contemporary interiors and candle light dinners, add to the intimate feel of it. For starters try the Zuppa (home made soup) or Caprese (a mozzarella, tomato and basil salad). Mains include, Calamari Saltati, which is sauteed squid with chillies and white wine. Essenza serves special children's menu and Express Business Lunch, for the pre-occupied business people.
