Firebird is a Franco-Russian restaurant that has always given long-standing Russian house Kaspia a run for its money, but now it has opened an Orient Express style Room of Luxury, the competition has reached new heights. Decked out in rich reds, with dim lighting, opulent surroundings, and a swank ambiance, beautiful people who live within two miles of the restaurant can be chauffeured to their dinner date in a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. Apparently, it's very popular with aristocratic Russian-types who run up astronomical bills. Which isn't hard, when you're quaffing caviar and the best vodka, although surprisingly, the mark-up on the caviar is reasonable. Recommended dishes include the Kazakhstan Lamb, Potato Cake and the Roasted Venison. Don't forget to finish your meal with a flourish by downing a wonderfully sweet honey vodka.
