Located on Portobello Road, the First Floor Restaurant has been pulling in crowds for the past two decades with its Bohemian decor and contemporary food. However, some critics have noticed a decline in both food and service. Airy with high ceilings and richly Bohemian with heavy drapes, mahogany chairs and dried-flower arrangements, this is an ideal venue for casual meals or romantic dates. The innovative cuisine was a bit expensive than other eateries in the area when it first opened, but today is comparable to similar restaurants. There is a top floor private dining room, which can cater to around hundred people. It's also a popular venue for christenings, engagements and corporate breakfast meetings.
