Furnivall Sculling Club, London

Furnivall Sculling Club gets its name from its founder Dr Frederick James Furnivall, who established it in 1896. A strong opponent of discrimination Dr. Frederick is renowned for creating the National Amateur Rowing Association (NARA) and 'Hammersith Sculling Club for girls and men' that would freely accept everyone. The club comprises of various squads that participate in various competitions. If you are interested, you will taught from scratch, following which, you could join a team or continue the activity for recreational purposes. You could develop your muscles and build your stamina in the gym, training on the ergo meters or the weights. After a strenuous activity, you can unwind at the club room.
